Offences were registered against them yesterday at Adgaon Police station under sections 306 (abetment of suicide) and 34 )acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC.
The police have identified the six accused as Ramkamaldas, Vishnudas, Baliramdas, Sumeri Yadav, Pannasingh and Safaidas Guru Brahmanand Tiwari.
They are said to have instigated Bajrangidas Kesari to commit suicide on September 8, 2015 during the Kumbh mela at Sadhugram in Nashik's tapovan area, police officer Sachin Sadaphule said.
The youth started complaining of stomach pain on the night of September 8 following which he was rushed to state-run Indira Gandhi hospital, where he died the next day, police said.
The autopsy report revealed he had consumed poison, they said.
