Six villagers injured in bear attack

A bear attacked and injured six persons, including four women, in two remote villages in Chhotaudepur district bordering Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat Forest Department sources said.
The victims were residents of Bordha and Rundervata villages located adjacent to each other. Two of the four women were attacked when they had gone to answer nature's call, they said.
Five of the injured were admitted to a hospital at Chhotaudepur, while the sixth one, one of the women who was seriously wounded, was shifted to Government-run SSG Hospital in Vadodara, the sources added.
