Six-year-old girl kidnapped in MP

A six-year-old girl, daughter of a businessman from Barela town in Jabalpur district, was allegedly kidnapped by unidentified persons when she was returning from school today, police said.
"The matter came to light when abductors of the girl, one of them identified as Karnika Patel, demanded Rs 50 lakh ransom from her parents," Jabalpur Superintendent of Police H N Mishra said.
Her father Sunil Patel owns a number of godowns in the area.
"Police have launched a hunt to nab the culprits on the basis of their mobile phone location," the SP said, adding the girl would be traced soon.
