The vocational course was launched by the BWWA along with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) at a programme here.
About 200 participants are already being trained at seven places on vocational programmes in retail chain, customer service skill in fast food, IT sector and accounting among others, according to a press release issued by BSF.
The vocational training programme was launched last year as a pilot project in Chhawla, New Delhi and Shillong, Meghalaya.
"100 per cent trainees of Shillong are placed (in jobs) after the course," it said.
The BWWA also launched a programme for treatment of cleft lips along with NGO 'Smile Train India'.
"BWWA alongwith 'Smile Train India' aims to identify the poor people residing along the border areas with such problem and will provide free treatment to them.
"This will follow with free 'follow-up' treatment and speech therapy alongwith free transportation during their treatment," it said.
The NGO is the largest such philanthropic organisation which has rendered service in curing the disease through 7.5 lakh surgery in almost 80 countries.
In India, the NGO with assistance of 300 surgeons has already carried out cleft lip operation among 3 lakh patients in 170 hospitals, the release said.
