Slight intensity quake in Meghalaya

A slight earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale jolted East Khasi Hills in Meghalaya early today.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said, the epicenter of the earthquake, which took place at 0055 hrs (IST), was located at 25.6 degrees North Latitude and 91.9 degrees East Longitude.
Its focal depth was 10 kilometer. However, no serious damage was reported.
