Small sugar slips in listless trade

Small sugar prices slipped in an otherwise listless Vashi wholesale market here today on poor offtake from millers and bulk consumers.
Meanwhile, medium sugar ended stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying.
Small sugar (S-30) declined by Rs 20 per quintal to Rs 3,856/3,922 from Saturday's closing level of Rs 3,856/3,942.
However, medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,910/4,152 per quintal.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,856/3,922 (Rs 3,856/3,942).
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,910/4,152 (Rs 3,910/4,152).
