Fire broke out at the factory packed with raw and finished packaged materials, worth Rs 15 to 20 lakh, around 6 AM, the official said, adding that no one was inside the factory at that time.
A number of fire tenders was pressed into service to douse the flame, and it took nearly four hours for the personnel to bring the fire under control.
Police said the owner of the factory had claimed that raw and finished materials worth Rs 15 to 20 lakh were gutted in the fire.
