The Meerut Shuttle to Delhi today developed a snag in the engine which saw the train stuck at a station for an hour-and-a-half, inconveniencing commuters and affecting railway schedules.
The said train runs between Meerut Cantt and the national capital.
According to sources, it was at around 8 A.M. That the train suddenly stalled at Muradnagar station with authorities saying that a glitch in the engine had led to the problem.
The train could only leave the station after the arrival of a replacement engine, sources said.
