The 43-year-old rapper took to Instagram to air his views, reported Ace Showbiz.
"Grammys we need a hip hop show for real... Ans real mcs(sic)," he wrote, captioning a picture of the 'Thrift Shop' hitmaker Macklemore and other rappers behind him.
Snoop noted Macklemore, who last year won four Grammys, has more golden gramophone trophies than big names in rap like Tupac Shakur, Notorious B I G, DMX, Busta Rhymes, Rick Ross, Run DMC, Kendrick Lamar, Public Enemy and Snoop himself combined.
Dogg has never won a Grammy although he has been nominated 16 times.
Following the Sunday ceremony, Trey Songz tweeted, "The Grammys shortchange culture for popularity every year."
The R&B star also had some words for them after his 'Trigga' and the hit singles off the album didn't get nominated in any category.
