Snowfall in high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh

The high altitude areas of Himachal Pradesh received mild snowfall today while strong icy winds swept the region.
The Met office here has warned of heavy rains or snow at isolated places in mid and higher hills tomorrow. It has predicted rainfall and snow in the region over next six days barring February 16 as a western disturbance lies over the Himalayan region.
The maximum temperatures dropped by 1-2 degrees and Keylong was coldest during the day with the maximum temperature at 2.7 degrees Celsius while Una was hottest at 25.6 degrees Celsius.
Kalpa recorded a high of 9.2 degrees Celsius followed by 14.2 degrees Celsius in Dharamshala, 15.0 degrees Celsius in Manali, 16.2 degrees Celsius in Solan, 18.6 degrees Celsius in Bhuntar, 19.4 degrees Celsius in Nahan, 19.9 degrees in Palampur, 20.0 degrees Celsius in Sundernagar, 21.4 degrees in Solan and 25.6 degrees in Una.
The minimum temperatures increased by 2-3 degrees but stayed below five degrees at most of the places.
Keylong was coldest at night with a low of minus 5.9 degrees Celsius followed by minus 2.0 degrees Celsius in Kalpa, 1.0 degrees Celsius in Manali, 1.8 degrees Celsius, 2.0 degrees Celsius, 2.2 degrees Celsius in Bhuntar, 3.5 degrees Celsius in Solan, 4.6 degrees Celsius in Shimla, 4.8 degrees Celsius in Una, 5.0 degrees Celsius in Palampur, 7.0 degrees Celsius in Dharamshala and 8.7 degrees Celsius in Nahan.
