The incident happened last evening and the condition of the victim identified as Chandrakant Sharma is stable, they said.
Sharma was shot at when his bike suddenly hit another bike which led to a verbal scuffle between him and the assailants, police said.
An FIR has been registered against unknown miscreants at Noida Phase 3 police station, they said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
