Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says she has complex feelings about her relationship with her ex-husband Chris Martin.
Paltrow, 42, said that despite the amicable nature of their split in March, it has not always been easy, reported Harper Bazaar magazine.
"It's painful, it's difficult, it might be easier to say, 'I never want to see you again', but what good does that do anyone," she said.
Paltrow and her ex-husband are maintaining a united front for the sake of their children.
"Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want," she said.
