Sonalika aims to double its revenue by 2020

Sonalika International Tractors aims to double its revenue, which stands at USD 660 million (around Rs 4,500 crore), by 2020.
The company, which produces tractors between 20 HP to 120 HP, is among the top three tractor manufacturers in the country with a market share of around 12 per cent.
"The continuous trust of our patrons has made us one of the fastest growing tractor manufacturing companies in the country. We are aiming to double our revenue from USD 660 million by 2020," Sonalika International Tractors Executive Director Raman Mittal said.
With its customer centric approach, the company's focus has always been to empower the farmers by providing solutions/products that will enhance their agricultural productivity, he added.
The company said it is the leading brand in Haryana and Himachal Pradesh and is amongst the top three leading firms in Jammu & Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Assam and Odisha.
"It is a proud moment for us at Sonalika ITL as we are amongst the top three tractor manufacturing companies today. We have been able to achieve this position in a short span of time due to the support of our dealers, farmers, suppliers and employees," Mittal said.
The company's manufacturing facility in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, has an installed capacity to produce two lakh tractors annually.
Sonalika also exports to over 20 European countries besides selling in Algeria, Nepal and Myanmar.
