Sonowal today released a book titled 'Lal Nadi Nile Pahar' authored by senior journalist Ravishankar Ravi.
Congratulating Ravi for writing the book, the chief minister said that the book would act as a bridge between India's Northeast and the perception about the region held by the people across the country.
"Books are a potent tool to create perception about a place among the people and I hope 'Lal Nadi Nile Pahar' (Red river Blue mountain) will create a window of knowledge about Northeast in other parts of the country," Sonowal said.
The book is an account of the author's experience on several aspects of Northeast.
