"We expect 10-15 branches to restart in Kashmir in next 2-3 days as the situation is gradually improving in some parts of the Valley," a senior SBI official said here today.
"But the situation in Srinagar has still not improved as area still remains marooned and therefore, no branch is functioning there," he said.
Asked about loss caused by devastating floods, SBI official said that the bank was still in the process of working out the loss.
SBI, which has 66 branches in the Valley spread across 10 districts, generates total business of more than Rs 3,000 crores in Kashmir.
