In the 82-member House, the JMM has 42 members backing the motion as the High Court yesterday dismissed a petition of JMM MLA Nalin Soren requesting for a stay on a non-bailable arrest warrant.
The non-bailable arrest warrant was issued against him by the special vigilance court in connection with the seed scam that surfaced when he was a state minister between 2006 and 2008.
JMM MLA Sita Soren, one of the two absconding MLAs of the party, the other being Nalin Soren, is present in the House today after she was reportedly granted a bail by the Supreme Court in an abduction case related to the 2012 horse trading case during Rajya Sabha election.
