The 2,600 sq.Ft. Stadium, which can accommodate 3,000 spectators, is scheduled to host the basketball and wrestling competitions during the much-awaited multi-sporting event, an official release said here today.
The indoor stadium has been built at a cost of Rs 23.5 crore by National Games Secretariat on 16.2 acres of land, owned by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs under the state government, it said.
The National Games are scheduled to be held in different venues across Kerala from January 31 to February 14 next year.
