"In the last ten months of this current financial year, the earnings of the (Madurai) Division was Rs 584.81 crore against the last year actual of Rs 426.95 crore," Ajai Kant Rastogi, Divisional Railway Manager, Madurai said.
Speaking at the 45th Divisional Rail Users' Consultative Committee Meeting here, he also highlighted new train services, safety measures, provision of various passenger amenities at stations and projects in the Division.
The meeting also elected N Jagatheesan of the Chamber of Commerce, Madurai as the representative for Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee from Madurai.
