Tering the SP government in the state anti-farmer, Union Minister of State for Human Resources Development Ramshankar Katheria and Union MoS for Food Processing Industries Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti said the Centre has already released funds for the farmers but the state govenrment has not correctly assessed the crop losses.
Katheria told reporters said the Central government sympathises with the farmers and has asked the state governnment to provide compensation on basis of the actual report and added that the delay by the SP government is causing suffering for the farmers.
Expressing grief over suicides of farmers, she said Centre is ready to provide every help possible to the rain-hit farmers but state government has not sent the report over the crop losses yet to the Union government yet.
