A total of 15 districts, including Lucknow, have been identified as sensitive and special arrangements have been made to ensure peace and order at these places, a spokesman of the department said.
Besides Lucknow, Meerut, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Aligarh, Kanpur, Varanasi, Mau, Faizabad, Allahabad, Gorakhpur, Gonda and Azamgarh have been identified as sensitive, the spokesman said.
Lucknow SSP has been given additional 16 ASPs, 42 Deputy SPs, 13 companies of PAC and six companies of RAF, the spokesman said, adding that other districts would also be given force as per their requirements.
