SpiceJet flags off two daily flights on RCS routes

Country's second largest low-cost carrier SpiceJet today flagged off direct flights on the Mumbai-Porbandar-Mumbai and Mumbai-Kandla-Mumbai routes.
The two flights became operational from today. The flag-off ceremony was held at the Porbandar airport, the airline said.
The first flight (SG 2874) left the Porbandar airport at 1105 hrs.
SpiceJet was awarded six proposals and 11 routes under the first phase of Regional Connectivity Scheme (RCS). Out of the six proposals, four will cater to unserved markets of Adampur, Kandla, Puducherry and Jaisalmer and two will be for under-served markets of Porbandar and Kanpur.

Avendus Capital appoints Sameer Kamath as Group CFO
Avendus Capital today said it has appointed Sameer Kamath as the Group Chief Financial officer.
Kamath, who will report to Ranu Vohra, Managing Director and CEO, will be responsible for financial management and reporting, risk and compliance, taxation and legal and secretarial functions, it said in a statement.
Kamath joined the company from Motilal Oswal Financial Services, where he had an 11-year stint and was the Director and Group Chief Financial Officer.

'Audio Lounge', London's premier high-end audio and lifestyle retail venture, has come to India. A retail arm of Cadence LLP, a company owned by Pune-based Shirke family, has opened first 'Audio Lounge' in India at Pune.
Commenting on the development, Ajay Shirke said, "We believe the time is now right for 'Audio Lounge' to introduce the very best of the high-end audio systems to the Indian market, especially for the aficionados of best quality sound."
Started in London in 2013, 'Audio Lounge' is a high-end audio and lifestyle retail venture.

Mullen Lintas bags Quikr's creative mandate
Mullen Lintas today said it has bagged the creative duties of online classifieds platform Quikr.
Its Bengaluru office will handle the account.
"Quikr is revolutionising the online transactions space across various product categories. We will be able to innovate with the cross category benefits that Quikr brings to its consumers," Mullen Lintas CEO Virat Tandon said in a statement.
