It said the Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore superfast special train (main line) would leave Tirunelveli at 1815 hrs on Dec 21 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 0715 hrs the next day.
The Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli special train would leave Chennai Egmore at 2245 hrs on Dec 22 and reach Tirunelveli at 12.30 hrs the next day.
Special trains between Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore (via Chord Line) would also be operated,Railways said in a release.
The Chennai Egmore-Tirunelveli special train would leave Chennai Egmore at 21.05 hrs on Dec 26 and arrive at Tirunelveli at 0945 hrs the next day, it said.
