Sports officer arrested in sexual harassment case

Dumka district sport officer-in-charge was today arrested on the charge of exploiting a college student sexually for the last six months, police said.
Harendra Singh was arrested and sent to jail after the victim, a resident of Pakur district and studying in a college in Dumka, lodged a written complaint to the Town Police station in this regard today, said Deputy SP A K Srivastav.
The girl was living in a rented house in the neighbourhood of Singh and alleged he has been sexually exploiting here for the last six months.
