Sri Lanka were 18 for two at tea on the second day of the third cricket Test after India declared their first innings at 536 for seven, here today.
India skipper Virat Kohli hit a career-best 243 even as play was halted on the request of visitors in the post-lunch session due to poor air quality.
Dilruwan Perera (12) and Angelo Mathews (4) were at the crease for Sri Lanka at the break.
