While approving the proposals, Patnaik said the infrastructure projects included a 22.4 km long road from Nischintakoeli in Cuttack district till Lalitgiri in Jajpur district.
"This road will improve communication among the Lalitgiri-Ratnagiri and Udaygiri golden triangle area known for preserving Buddhist sites," Patnaik said.
Similarly Rs 17.74 crore would be spent for digging of 2.9 km long Darpani branch canal under Rengali Irrigation project.
Patnaik also approved expenditure of Rs 2.25 crore for construction of concrete work, cross regulator gate and way-bridge of Telengiri main canal. The chief minister said all these works should be completed within next six months.
