State handicrafts fair begins

The annual West Bengal State Handicrafts Fair, popularly known as Paschimbaga Hastashilpa Mela, began at Eco Park in New Town near here today.
Featuring the best of handicrafts and brining to the front craftsmen from across the state, the fair organised by the Micro and Small Scale Enterprises and Textiles Department, will continue till December 10, officials said.
Products made of wood, cane, bamboo, jute, leather and terracotta would be available in the fair.
Besides, visitors would also be able to buy clothes and junk jewelleries in the fair.
