Steel prices end steady in thin trading

There was not much activity at the steel market in the national capital, while saria and other steel products ended at their previous levels.
Absence of demand from engineering and construction units and tight fund positions, kept prices unchanged.
Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):
Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 41,100, 10-mm Rs 38,900, 12-mm Rs 38,300, 16-25 mm Rs 38,300.
Amba Shakti (TMT): 8-mm Rs 44,000, 10-mm Rs 41,500, 12-mm, Rs 40,500, 16-25 mm Rs 40,500.
MS Angle: (50x5) (50x6) Rs 42,000, (40x5) (40x6) Rs 42,800.
Angle Capital (ISI) (40X5) (40x6) Rs 44,100, (35X5)(65X6) Rs 44,600. Girder (125X65) Rs 41,000.
