The heinous crime came to light when the 18-year-old victim finally mustered courage to lodge a police complaint on August 28, they said.
According to the complaint, the girl was sexually abused by the accused since August 2012 whenever she was alone at home. Her stepfather had threatened to kill her if she revealed anything, police said.
After the complaint, Tulinj police launched a hunt for the accused, who has been absconding.
Police have booked the accused under relevant sections the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
