Sterlite deploys aircrane for power transmission project

Sterlite Power Grid Ventures Ltd (Sterlite Grid) today said it has become India's first private power transmission developer to deploy aircrane for setting up of a power transmission line in the extremely challenging terrain of Jammu & Kashmir.
"Sterlite Grid has partnered with US-based Erickson Inc to install nearly 160 transmission towers in the rough terrain of Pir Panjal ranges, using Erickson's S64 Aircrane, a heavy lift helicopter," the company said in a press release.

Big Bazaar Direct ties up with Oxigen Services
* The omni-channel business of Future Group, Big Bazaar Direct, today tied up with payment service provider Oxigen Services to offer franchise opportunities to small retailers to be on its e-commerce platform, and sell through its network to end customers.
At present, Big Bazaar has tied up with Oxigen's two lakh retailers.
"Our partnership with Oxigen helps us to further penetrate the market by expanding our reach through Oxigen retailers, and sell the wide range of Big Bazaar products," Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani said in a statement.

Infosys partners TED to pilot TEDx Anchor programme in India * TED, a global organisation devoted to 'ideas worth spreading', has partnered India's second-largest IT services firm Infosys to launch a pilot of its TEDx Anchor programme.
The TEDx Anchor programme will be kicked off with a two-year, 14-city pilot in India through a strategic partnership with Infosys, a statement said.
Through the strategic partnership with Infosys, TED will provide dedicated mentorship, scholarships and training to TEDx organizers in cities across India, including metros such as Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Mumbai, Mysore, Mangalore and Thiruvananthapuram.
