Apple co-founder Steve Wozinak is impressed with director Danny Boyle, screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and the cast for their work on the upcoming biopic of Steve Jobs.
"Steve Jobs" drew high praise from some reviewers and critics on its debut at the Telluride Film Festival on September 5, reported Aceshowbiz.
Michael Fassbender stars in the titular role.
Wozniak was among the viewers, praising the movie and 38-year-old Fassbender, whom he considered successful in portraying the Apple former chairman.
"I saw a rough cut and I felt like I was actually watching Steve Jobs and the others, not actors playing them, I give full credit to Danny Boyle and (screenwriter) Aaron Sorkin for getting it so right," Wozniak said.
Wozniak was also said to be impressed with other stars such as Kate Winslet. He thought that the cast performed really great and could approach the character.
The biopic recounts the ups and downs Jobs had during his career which encouraged him to revolutionise the computer, music and mobile industries.
Fassbender and Winslet star in the movie alongside Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg, Sarah Snook and Katherine Waterston.
"Steve Jobs" is expected to be screened at the New York Film Festival on October 3 and will be released later in the US on October 9.
