Addressing a Vedic conference here, she said plastic bags and similar objects are found in stomach of cows which is a cause of concern for all.
Therefore, she said, people should not use plastic bags due to hazards associated with these.
Raje said the government is making all possible efforts for the protection of cows and also called upon the public to come forward for the same.
She also laid stress on spreading awareness about Vedic knowledge and Sanskrit language.
