Storm Reid has been roped in to star in "The Suicide Squad" sequel, to be directed by James Gunn.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will play the daughter of Idris Elba's character.
Reid is best known for "A Wrinkle in Time" and currently features on HBO's "Euphoria".
Other plot details are being kept under wraps but the makers are eyeing to begin production in September with shooting location in Atlanta.
Gunn is helming the follow-up to the 2016 feature based on the DC Comics anti-heroes.
Besides Reid, Elba, John Cena and David Dastmalchian are the latest entries, with Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Viola Davis reprising their roles.
The new film, which is touted as a "complete reboot" of "Suicide Squad", is slated for a 2020 release.
