Stranded fishermen rescued by Coast Guard

Six fishermen stranded in mid sea off Kanyakumari coast for five days have been rescued by the Coast Guard.
Coast Guard ship 'Naikidevi' undertook a search and rescue mission yesterday and spotted the boat about 30 km east of Kanyakumari.
The fishermen were provided medical aid and their vessel towed to Tuticorin harbour, an official release said.
The fishermen had put out to sea on February 23, it said.
