"The company has temporarily suspended the production, as directed by the government authorities," the company said in a filing to BSE.
It added that the company is working with the authorities to resume operations at the earliest.

In an earlier filing Shasun had said that one worker died and another got injured in a fire accident on November 16, 2015 at new production block in the Cuddalore facility.
Shares of Strides Shasun were trading at Rs 1,386.95 per scrip, up 1.78%, on BSE in the afternoon.
