Strong wind, drizzle bring down mercury in Nagpur

Nagpur got a slight respite from intense heat conditions prevailing in the city with strong winds, overcast sky and a drizzle.
The mercury graph plunged to 42.2 degree Celsius from sizzling 42.5 degree Celsius recorded yesterday.
The strong winds uprooted branches of many trees.
Bramhapuri and Akola recorded temperature of 43.8 degree Celsius and 43.7 degree Celsius, respectively.
Temperature recorded at other places in the Vidarbha region are (in degree Celsius): Amravati (43.2), Buldana (40. 8), Chandrapur (42), Gondia (41.3), Nagpur (42.2), Washim (42.4), Wardha (42.9) and Yavatmal (41.6).
