Student commits suicide over study pressure

Stressed over studies, a college student allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself, police said today.
The victim identified as Suresh, 24, took the extreme step on Thursday and his body was found in the bathroom of his house here yesterday, they said.
Police said that according to family members, Suresh was weak in studies and was under stress as his exams were nearing, and that might have driven him to take the extreme step.
The body has been sent for post-mortem and the matter is being investigated, police said.
