The injured identified as Rishikant (15), a student at B N inter college, was hit by the truck near his school this morning on Katra-Bilhor highway, they said.
He was taken to the district hospital from where he has been referred to trauma center at Lucknow, they said.
Agitated with the incident the students and the locals blocked the road and damaged a number of buses and trucks, they said.
