A Class XI student was thrashed today by some of his co-students outside the campus at the behest of a school teacher.
An FIR has been lodged against the teacher on a complaint by the boy who lives in Loni area of the district, police said.
The boy claimed he was forced to miss his examination today as the attackers had threatened him of dire circumstances if he came to college, police said.
College principal Pramod Sharma, however, has ruled out the teacher's involvement, saying the incident did not take place outside the college campus.
