Student who shot at classmate arrested

A teenager, who allegedly shot at his classmate, has been arrested in Purkazi town here, police said today.
The accused, a class XI student, shot at his classmate Akshay Kumar (17) at a tuition class here on Monday, SHO Charan Singh Yadav said.
The teenager was taken into custody and later he was arrested, Yadav said, adding that pistol and cartridges were recovered from his possession.
He has been booked under section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC and section 25 of the Arms Act, Yadav said.
The police is yet to determine the reason behind the attack, the SHO said.
