Students bid to enter in Guinness in Silambam and Archery

In their bid to enter into Guinness World Records, a total of 114 students, both boys and girls, from various Higher Secondary schools in the district today participated in a three hour marathon competitions in 'Archery' and 'Silambam'.
The contests were organised by Salem Kalaimagal Kottam.
About 82 students participated in the 'Silambam' contest while 32 students took part in 'Archery', in the competitions conducted at Neelambal Matriculation Higher Secondary school here, organisers said.
