Students ransack college after denied to cheat

Students of Chanchol College in Malda district today ransacked the college after they were driven out of the examination hall for allegedly using unfair means, the police said.
A total of 35 final-year students of BA were ousted from the examination hall for allegedly cheating in History paper during the university examination, officials said.
With the help of outsiders, they broke into the college building during the examination, damaged the furniture, stationery and tore the answer scripts of the other students, the police said.
Nobody was arrested and the university officials have been informed about the incident, officials said.
