Students to create Vivenkananda's portrait in colour salt
Press Trust of India Coimbatore As part of the 150th birth anniversary celebrations of Swami Vivenkananda, 250 students of different colleges in the district will be creating the portrait of the sage in colour salt on February 12.
About 15 tonnes of salt will be used for the portrait measuring 40 X 30 metres and it will take nearly eight hours, according to J.Balu, President of Vivekananda Ideals, Organisers of the event.
The students are creating the portrait in their bid to enter the Limca Book of Records.
