Sugar declines on lower demand

Both the varieties of Sugar prices declined at the Vashi wholesale market here today on stockists selling amidst lower demand from bulk consumers as well as millers.
Medium sugar (M-30) fell by Rs 4/10 per quintal to Rs 3,012/3,222 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 3,016/3,232.
Small sugar (S-30) eased by Rs 4 per quintal to Rs 2,862/2,991 as compared to Rs 2,862/2,995 previously.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,862/2,991 (Rs 2,862/2,995).
Medium sugar(M-30) quality: Rs 3,012/3,222 (Rs 3,016/3,232).
