Sugar eases on reduced demand

Prices of both varieties of sugar eased further at the Vashi wholesale market here today due reduced demand from stockists and retailers.
Medium sugar (M-30) moved down by Rs 10 to Rs 3,152/3,332 per quintal from Thursday's level of Rs 3,152/3,342.
Small sugar (S-30) also went down by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 3,042/3,152 as against Rs 3,052/3,152 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,152/3,332 (Rs 3,152/3,342).
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,042/3,152 (Rs 3,052/3,152).
