Sugar ends mixed amid sluggish demand

Sugar prices ended mixed at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 3,252/3,426 per quintal from Thursday's closing level of Rs 3,192/3,432.
Small sugar (S-30) also quoted soft at Rs 3,125/3,271 per quintal as compared to Rs 3,126/3,270 yesterday.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 3,252/3,426 (Rs 3,192/3,432).
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 3,125/3,271 (Rs 3,126/3,270).
