Sugar ends mixed on scattered trading

Sugar prices ended mixed at the Vashi wholesale market here today on alternate bouts of buying and selling.
Small sugar (S-30) was quoted at Rs 2,681/2,790 per quintal.
Medium sugar (M-30) was quoted at Rs 2,800/2,942 per quintal.
Following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal) with the previous rates given in brackets:
Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,681/2,790 (Rs 2,662/2,816.
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,800/2,942 (Rs 2,796/2,952).
