Sugar prices remain steady in restricted activity

Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale sugar market in the national capital today on scattered demand from bulk consumers and retailers amidst persistent supplies by millers.
Marketmen said scattered demand from bulk consumers as well as retailers against ample stocks position on persistent supplies by mills mainly kept sugar prices unchanged.

Sugar retail markets - Rs 30.00-34.00 per kg.
Sugar ready: M-30 Rs 2,600-2,800 S-30 Rs 2,590-2,790.
Mill delivery: M-30 Rs 2,500-2,660 S-30 Rs 2,500-2,630.
