The crop worth Rs 5 crore has been seized by the district authority, District Magistrate Koshal Raj Sharma told reporters here today.
It will be sold to a local sugar mill and the money received from the sale will be deposited in the government account, he said.
The DM said unauthorised possession of 700 bigha government land in Hastinapur sanctuary worth crore of rupees has been discovered by the district authorities.
Three revenue clerks have been arrested in this connection so far.
Two revenue clerks Jai Bhagwan and Shiv Kumar were arrested yesterday, while another one was arrested earlier.
