"What is my fault? I have been a loyal soldier of the SP and have helped the party garner votes from the Kushwaha community in the last Assembly elections," he said.
"Netaji (Mulayam) knows very well that I had helped in drawing support of the Kushwaha community which has 9 per cent voting population in the area, higher than the Yadav community," Kushwaha claimed.
On October 1, he was removed as SP's national general secretary.
He claimed that his community was hurt over his sudden removal from the key posts.
"I will soon meet netaji and ask him why I have been removed suddenly from the party in this manner," he said.
Though no reason was stated behind Kushwaha's dismissal, it is believed that he was terminated for giving statements to the media without authorisation from the party authorities.
