Sultry morning in Delhi, rain likely in evening

Delhiites woke up to a sultry morning today with the minimum temperature settling at 28 degrees Celsius even as the weatherman has predicted possibility of rain in later part of the day.
"The minimum temperature was recorded at 28 degrees Celsius, one notch above normal at 8.30 AM. The humidity was 83 per cent," a MeT official said.
The maximum is likely to settle at 34.9 degrees Celsius which is one notch above normal.
"The sky will turn cloudy towards afternoon and rains or thundershowers might occur in some areas," the official said.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature was registered at 34.8 degree Celsius while the minimum was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius.
